An Exhibition was organised at the Caraffa Stores,
Birgu. The intention was to promote the activities of the Maltese Band Clubs.
The spacious hall, which was built during the seventheenth century to store food
and other everyday necessities, was the ideal place where to hold an exhibition
of traditional
activities which are still alive and prospering. The 15 arches supporting the
roof seemed to embrace the 30 banners, boards full of pictures, documents and
old instruments.
Our thanks go to the management of Caraffa Stores
for giving us the opportuniy to hold this exhibition in this beatiful palace
and exquisite locality.

The musical programme at the Manoel Theatre
organised by St. Leonard Band Club, Kirkop was greatly appreciated by the
audience which filled the theatre.

affiliated societies and other guests.
